Replacing Cosmetic Formulas With Natural Ones
To moisturize your kid’s skin, replace the chemical compositions with natural ones. Oils and milk based products work much better than creams in this season so stick to the light oiling routine. Chose from coconut oil, butter, yogurt, honey and milk as they provide natural moisture and heal your kid’s skin. So while milk and butter exfoliate and softens their skin, yogurt acts as an excellent hydrating agent and prevents itchiness and dryness. Honey softens the skin as it is loaded with anti-oxidants.
Keep Them Hydrated
Winter chill tends to evaporate moisture from their skin doubly fast. Although it becomes very difficult to consume water owning to the cold, but the truth is that you should double their intake in fact. Make them Drink liquids as much as possible( soups, hot milk etc ). Also, eating healthy oils internally rejuvenates the skin and makes it healthy. So nourish their skin from inside with Olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, avocado oil etc to ensure that it remains soft and smooth always.
Bath Time Care
Don’t bathe them with Extra hot water. Not only does the hot water dry your skin even more, the exposed skin may catch allergies as the kids step out. Take a warm shower instead and of course in any case, spend lesser time bathing. Use glycerine soaps as harsh soaps will aggravate the dryness.
Toning And Scrubs For Very Dry Cases
