The shine girl isn’t your average girl next door, although she may seem like just another girl on the surface, deep inside, she shines. Okay.. too much GIRL in that sentence but seriously, aren’t all girls just a hell lot of shine? Some learn to shine early while others may take time in deciding whether the world is ready to take that energy.
We all love a hint of shimmer in our lives, be it love- career, our make up or our clothes. Again it depends on personal choice. Afterall, looking all dull or shining like a disco ball are both not really desirable. Now since its December, officially the party month of the year, I have some really great party outfit ideas.
We talked about House party outfit ideas in one of the previous posts and this time also I am adding a hint of glitter and shine in my #ootd as we head out to the greatest New Year party approaching the end of 2016.
Sequins are always one of my favorite styles when it comes to rocking a party look and this sequins shrug is something I had bought a couple of years back and didn’t get a chance to wear till now(perks of the job, too many clothes!). I wanted to add a dash of freshness to the party look so to balance the glitter, I chose this perky floral crop top from StalkBuyLove and teamed it up with my black leather patch Zara skirt. Its an old staple and I still think its gorgeous.
Metallics and glitter are a raging trend this season, we all know that and hence this outfit has a hint of shine to it. Also I have the hots for stocking and this one is my current favorite so I added a hint of British charm with black stockings and a light pink pair of heels.Highlighting black with a pastel colored pair of heels is a good idea as it brings out the beauty of both don’t you think? The heels aren’t sky high and they will let me dance till I drop without causing any discomfort.
I am the shine girl and I am going to let it show this New Year’s party. Are you ready?
